Wearing an X-Men t-shirt might also make people think you’re opposed to prejudice and discrimination, so it’s probably best if you retire that thing.

So I enjoy mixing and matching animated intros to shows, and of course messed around with the new Bells Hells animated intro and my god I was SHOOK when I linked it up to the RWBY vol 7 intro song like it fits too well
Even a number of the lyrics, like "...through love your power just shines" when FCG gains control back, and "the truth is there but sometimes in disguise" when Laudna reveals her form of dread...
“That means mercy would be 18 when she joined overwatch”
And illari is 18 and dva is 19 and has been fighting for at least a year or two
WHAT IS YOUR POINT?!
I've seen some people looking for these. Spoilers below the read more for Captain Laserhawk: Blood Dragon Remix
Should go without saying but never date a cop and christ never marry one. Rule of thumb if he's legally untouchable he's ethically unfuckable. You don't like that cop, you like buff men in tight clothing. I can show you more of those, better ones. Take my hand.
Hi guys. This post ain't about stereotyping random professions (farriers????), it's about how cops are effectively legally untouchable and if they hurt you, you have virtually no recourse. A quality that none of those other professions have. It's the inherent power imbalance of being bound to someone who can't be prosecuted.
The "firemen cheat" thing is actually a myth, union workers are both hot and professionally stable, paramedics are stressed out but otherwise fine, physical workers are not inferior to "thinkers" don't be fuckin classist, and "watch out for Farriers" is maybe the funniest thing anyone's ever said on this post.
Having beef with the horse cobbler is objectively hilarious
People really missed the fact that ahsoka was underwater and unconcious the entire time and so anakin was using the force to connect with her and motivate her to keep herself alive like how leia did in space. Like she was under water and he was literally telling her if she didnt fight she would die.
But anakin is still vader its just been a few years since he died. Hes not been purified so while he tried to connect with her as he knew her the fact is he is still vader, a man possessed by the idea that moght makes right and no amount of good intentions erases the fact that to live your life is one of violence.
He kept her alive but she didnt want to use That Path to do so. And her ultimately chosing her own path, realizing shed live rather than not die, means she was able to save herself.
And analin wasnt trying to hurt her or teach her a lesson, he was just trying to help her hold on as long as possible because as we saw here and in kenobi anakin and vader are the same person. That wasnt clone wars anakin that was return of the jedi anakin trying to save his sister
When most people heard that the Daredevil series Born Again was being effectively scrapped and restarting from first position, the assumption was that this was a Bad Sign.
But @themarysue does a good job of pointing out that this is, in fact a positive, as it reflects one of the wins from the WGA strike, that the showrunner of a show should be a writer, and not simply a marketing executive.
As they point out, you'll probably see studios come out and make statements like "We hear you - No AI writers" as if it was their idea, when it was actually a point won by the writers' strike.
I’m at the point where I can’t tell if I actually have a crush on a fictional character, or if it’s just a by proxy thing because I like their actor
Honestly the great thing about thr characters is thry are all a piece of the actor. One shot characters they more often do things that dont mesh with them (i.e. talesin having fun being the ocerly broody batman). But they think alot about what their character might do and think. Talesin is essentially minor hollywood royalty. Grandson of a director and child actor percy is who ue sort of sees himself as, a rich boy with priviledge who uses that perspective to tear down the rich and powerful who deserve it. For many interviews i heard him talk about how percy was a terrible person, yet he never really did anything more morally ambiguous than the rest this is because the THOUGHTS he had and things he considered, tal thought were bad. Essentially “im a terrible person for thinking this”.
Cadeusus is essentially the person he wishes he could be for others. Like cad, tal has wisdom, quirks and kindness but doesnt see himself as morally pure.
Imo ashton is essentially mollynauk whos been through hell. Molly was his attempt to create what Tal WANTED to be. This goth chaos gremlin who did what he wanted and only interfered to help someone(discretely so they wouldn’t thank him) or stick it to those who deaerved it. And you can see how this relates to the others insofar as molly is: thr culmination of the enviroment he was raised, a good person with no soul, and a self proclaimed asshole.
Reflecting on percy i think tal sees his inner thoughts and the privilege he had and resents it and himself and molly was a way for him to explore the idea of identifying based on the family he chose and rejecting the past as unimportant to him.
And you see in ashton a sort of continuation that he wasnt able to explore with molly. A begruging acceptance of the past , but a rejection of having deserved the bullshit. Ashton is molly without the luxary of a working body or the amnesia to shield him from the past. Instead of being a goth accepting hedonism for fun, hes a punk rejecting the parts of the world that rejected him. And thinking of him mentioning how HE has to deal with chronic pain, i feel like ahston was made from a perspective of recreating molly but years later with more wisdom, perspective, anger and pain.
